AirAsia A380 delays again, with a jet with no passengers to disembark

Eastern Airlines says a plane carrying no passengers is expected to depart for Melbourne this morning.

The A380 from Melbourne to Sydney is scheduled to arrive at 7.30am, but the flight will be delayed due to a lack of passengers.

It is expected that the flight would depart from Melbourne’s Charles Darwin International Airport and would be bound for Sydney’s Darling Harbour at around 10.30pm.

The jet will depart from Sydney’s Central Coast International Airport at about 10.40pm.

The plane’s last scheduled departure date is Friday.
