Alitalia and Delta Airlines logo have been a part of the global brand for decades.
They are now part of a new logo by Finnish designer Benoît Boulle.
According to Boulles, his latest redesign for the airline’s logo features a “virus” that causes it to appear more “threatening”.
“Delta Airlines is an icon of a globalised world,” he said.
“The logo should reflect this.”
Alitalia is a global airline operating in the United States, Europe and Asia.
The airline also has its own subsidiary, Delta Airlines Lufthansa, that is based in the US.
