Virgin America will begin offering the Delta Air Lines’ Virgin America Fly app for smartphones and tablets in the United States and Canada by the end of next month.
The airline is currently the only major U.S. carrier offering the app.
Its app will be available in the U.K., France, the Netherlands and Austria, while a new app in the Netherlands is also on the way.
The app will offer an array of destinations in the Americas and Europe, including major cities such as New York, Miami, Atlanta and San Francisco, among others.
“Virgin America is a great brand that has done a fantastic job at delivering exceptional service to its passengers, and we are excited to work with Delta to bring the best of both worlds to Virgin America,” Virgin America CEO Jim Murphy said in a statement.
Delta is also working on a new product called Virgin Europe, which will be a free, on-demand service that will offer destinations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The company also has a new online app called Virgin Asia, which offers destinations in China and Southeast Asia.
